WowVPS! is powered by the virtualization software Xen. When we looked at developing our own custom VPS environment, we wanted it to be unique and for it to have features never seen or heard of before in the hosting industry today. Xen is capable of supporting servers with up to 128Gb RAM whilst supporting individual virtualized environments with up to 32Gb RAM allocated.

You may be thinking what makes Xen so special? Xen is hardware based virtualization rather than software based. The Virtual Environments created are limited to the available resources. For example, if the server only has 8Gb RAM then the total allocated Virtual environments and what it takes to run Xen itself can’t exceed 8Gb RAM. The same can be said for CPU and hard disk allocation. In short, gone are the days of some other abuser whose account resides on the same server as yours, affecting your performance.

Vscontrol - Manage your Xen VPS

We’ve added in some advanced features allowing you to manage your VPS without having to contact us. If you make a mistake and your cPanel is unreachable or a service will not start for some reason, you can reload it with a single click and your last known configuration will be restored.

You can restore the backup of your files and databases all within a very short time and without having to contact us.

Wow VPS Hardware and Data Security

When it comes to redundancy, our servers run RAID 10 (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) Arrays so if a hard drive fails we can replace it. We’re also running a clustered environment, so if one server fails another can take over. We certainly know how important it is to keep your important and valuable data online and to keep in touch with your clients.

We also perform daily backups that you are able to restore, or you may elect to have us restore at any time. You are also able to purchase backup plans so as to have a secondary backup copy of your data.
